We are searching for a visionary and leading mentor in capacity building and soft skills management, to elaborate, structure and head a new education department at IMT Atlantique. This entity will have in charge the reshaping and the animation of education for interpersonal and intrapersonal social skills of our students, acquired through the association of intercultural teaching, sport and physical activities, societal reflection and should rely on innovative education approaches and methods. The envisaged resources of the future entity currently cover all previously mentioned disciplines but could be enriched adequately in the short future.

IMT Atlantique internationally recognized for the quality of its research and education, is a leading technological university under the authority of the Ministry of Industry and Digital Technologies, ranked in the three main international rankings (THE, SHANGHAI, QS). The education program of IMT Atlantique has been recognized as amongst the most innovative in French Higher Education Research and Innovation and offers large possibilities of developing innovative engineering curriculum and educational approach.
IMT Atlantique has privileged relationships with major industrial national and international partners, as well as a dense network of SME, start-ups and innovation networks. With 290 permanent faculty members, 2000 students among which 300 PhD students, IMT Atlantique produces every year 1000 publications and raises 18M€ of research funding. The position is open either at the campus of Brest or at the campus of Nantes.
The candidate will have a strong experience in team management, pedagogical innovation, soft skills, and intercultural domain. She/he will be part of the Steering Committee of the university and will be directly involved in the definition of its strategy. She/he will aim at setting close and fruitful cooperation with the specialized education and research departments, as well as contribute to the influence of IMT Atlantique within the national and international academic and industrial networks.
