In a context where cyber attacks are particularly aggressive and strike all types of companies and public services, the position aims to cover threat management targeting sovereignty (security), health (hospitals), transport (connected vehicle), logistics (IIoT) and distribution environments (energy, factories), and operationalization of formal models in cybersecurity (security proofs, malware analysis, convergence between physical security and cybersecurity).
The teaching expectations are to conduct and expand the existing cybersecurity engineering teaching program of Télécom SudParis on digital infrastructures and protection of personal data for Master's level, PhD Track, or in the engineering cycle of Telecom SudParis.
Active participation to CIEDS (Interdisciplinary Centre for Defence and Security of IP Paris) and setting up of new research projects within the SCN team of SAMOVAR are expected.
The candidate must demonstrate previous teaching experience on cybersecurity engineering and closely-related fields; ability to contribute and lead existing modules; delivery experience at the engineering cycle, Masters, PhD Track or continuous professional development levels; supervision of student projects (all levels).
The candidate must demonstrate research experience and publications with international teams in high-impact journals and conferences; experience on competing and securing prestigious external research funding programs; successful management of the awarded grants; experience on research team participation and development of results; creation of new links with other research teams outside present and past organizations (e.g. industry).
A varied research experience and publications with several teams will be appreciated.
