JOB REQUIREMENTS

Institut Mines-Télécom Business School is seeking one highly qualified candidate with a demonstrated experience in teaching (at the undergraduate and graduate levels) and a research experience in Digital Economics (DATA, quantitative methods, regulation, ...) to fit into the research themes of iLab IDEAL (quels sont ces themes? . The candidate will conduct research activities within the laboratory, jointly with the Evry University - UEVE, Laboratoire en Innovation, Technologies, Économie et Management – LITEM (EA 7363):

  • Axis 1: "Digital, praxis and responsibility" and
  • Axis 2: "Innovation, markets and organisations".

The position is from September 2023 and is maintained open until filled in.

The ideal candidate will have a PhD, publications in leading scientific journals in the field of Management Sciences or Economics, and will have demonstrated strong research potential. He or she must have significant teaching experience and be able to teach in French and English.

Job requirements

LEVEL OF EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • PhD in management sciences or economics
  • Teaching and research experience in an academic or industrial laboratory
  • Working papers with strong potential or significant and recent publications in journals ranked in management sciences
  • ESSENTIAL SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
  • Teaching experience in higher education
  • Teach in French or English (with the objective of teaching in both languages within 3 years)
  • Expertise in digital platforms and personal data (DATA, regulation, ...) to fit in with the IDEAL iLab themes and the Institut Mines-Télécom's flagship theme "Data analytics & AI
  • Current use of statistical/econometric packages
  • Good integration in the research community
  • Knowledge of scientific issues and laboratories in the discipline at national and international level
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate sustainable development, CSR and ethical issues into teaching and research activities
  • Knowledge of information and communication technologies
  • DESIRABLE SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

  • International teaching or research experience
