SCIENTIFIC CONTEXT


The work will be performed as part of a collaborative project whose purpose is to revolutionise hearable technologies (especially TWS/earbuds) by offering extremely efficient real-time machine listening, speech processing and Music content analysis (MIR) solutions which can run on very low consumption hardware.



JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Participates in the realization of research contracts in the field of machine listening
  • Designs, develops and implements innovative technical or methodological instrumentation within the framework of the scientific projects in which he/she participates
  • Develops prototypes, builds specific simulation equipment, structures and maintains test platforms and test benches, develops computer programs, implements test or measurement campaigns...
  • Designs and carries out demonstrations and operational presentations of equipment and platforms
  • Documents the software or hardware equipment designed for research programs in order to allow their transfer



Job requirements

Required skills, experience, and knowledge:

  • In-depth theoretical and practical knowledge in machine listening
  • Experience with audio software development and deep learning frameworks (Pytorch, Tensorflow)
  • Experience with software project management
  • Fluency in English.

Preferred skills, experience, and knowledge:

  • Mastery of the Linux environment

Other abilities and skills:

  • Ability to work in a team, dialogue and writing skills
  • Interpersonal and pedagogical skills
  • Ability to synthesize


Candidates with the following qualifications may apply:
  • PhD or equivalent
