Internationally recognized generalist engineering school of the IMT (Institut Mines-Télécom), leading French engineering school (Technological University), IMT Atlantique aims to support transitions, train responsible engineers, and use scientific excellence to serve teaching, research and innovation.

As part of the new Embedded AI track of the International Master of Science in Information Technology (MSc IT), you will actively contribute to:

  • Teaching digital electronics, embedded systems, and AI, in line with the needs of the Embedded AI track.

  • Pedagogical development of the track by designing new courses and innovative student projects.

  • Participating in scientific and technological monitoring, as well as MEE research projects, in synergy with the MSc IT program.

  • Supervising research and development projects for 1st and 2nd-year MSc students.

  • Reporting on your activities and results, both pedagogical and scientific.

The position is assigned to the Mathematical and Electrical Engineering (MEE) department, which is structured around 8 research teams, an Engineer/Technician support team, and an administrative assistant team. The MEE department aims to address challenges in various fields: Education, Research, Innovation, and International relations.

Job requirements

✔️ You possess solid skills in algorithms and programming, particularly in C, C++, and Python.

✔️ You have mastered the fundamentals of digital electronics, as well as software and hardware design.

✔️ You are capable of working in a multidisciplinary environment combining electronics, computer science, and embedded systems.

✔️ Experience in AI and/or Embedded AI would be highly appreciated.

🎓 You hold a PhD or have significant experience in digital electronics, embedded systems, or AI. Your pedagogical sense, scientific curiosity, and ability to work in a team will be major assets for this position.

🇬🇧 Full professional proficiency in English (the MSc IT–Embedded AI track is an international program taught entirely in English).
