MISSIONS:
You will contribute to ongoing research on a promising industrial approach of desagregated hardware as Open RAN, focusing on the Telco Data Space component and artificial intelligence techniques applied to networks using approaches such as AI-RAN, an open initiative that should significantly simplify the automation of 4G/5G/6G network functions. As part of this research, various network architectures will be studied, such as federated and distributed AI approaches, and secure telco data access solutions will be analyzed and implemented. 3GPP 5G releases 16 to 20 provide important input for understanding the necessary functionalities that will be implemented and tested in the context of this project.
ACTIVITIES:
Contribute to the development of technical solutions with proof of concept, both for the distributed AI approach in the OPENRAN open environments and for the management of interoperability in telecom data exchange and their automatic processing.
Set up a testbed for experiments and testing.
Participate in supervising interns and doctoral students within the project and assist with testing and validation.
Participate in the drafting of project deliverables.
Participate in the publication and dissemination of results
Job requirements
Level of training and / or experience required:
Bac+5 degree or equivalent Or PhD
Bac+4 or equivalent with professional experience ≥ 4 years
Bac+3 or equivalent with professional experience ≥ 6 years
Bac+2 degree or equivalent with professional experience ≥ 10 years
Essential skills, knowledge and experience:
Strong programming skills, preferably in C, C++,Python.
Kernel Linux programming is a plus.
Distinguished her- or himself with publications in peer-reviewed international journals and/or presentations in renowned international conferences
Strong knowledge of either French or English
