Internationally recognized generalist engineering school of the IMT (Institut Mines-Télécom), leading French engineering school (Technological University), IMT Atlantique aims to support transitions, train responsible engineers, and use scientific excellence to serve teaching, research and innovation.
As part of our Critical Infrastructure Cybersecurity Chair, we are recruiting a Cyber-Physical Testbed Research Engineer to join our Systems Networks Cybersecurity and Digital Law (SRCD) department.
In collaboration with the Chair team, and as a Cyber-Physical Testbed engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance and optimization of our diverse platforms, including an Airbus cyber-range, Fischertechnik miniaturized plants controlled by PLCs from Schneider, Siemens, Creuzet and Industrial Shields, as well as Arduino and Raspberry Pi-based sensors and actuators.
In this role, you will maintain the platform, configure the system, automate tasks and work with industrial partners to understand their needs and integrate them into the platforms.
For the scientifically curious, there will be opportunities to contribute to research projects within our dynamic environment.

Job requirements
Your expertise in system configuration, console-level operations, and task automation will be crucial to ensure the smooth running of these cyber-physical environments.
You are familiar with PLCs from Schneider, Siemens, Creuzet and Industrial Shields, and are fluent in French and English (written and spoken).
You enjoy working as part of a dynamic team, and are curious, motivated, organized and rigorous.
You must have a master's degree in cyber security.
