CONTEXTE:
Télécom SudParis, a leading general engineering school within IMT (Institut Mines-Télécom), France's top engineering school group, aims to support and train responsible engineers and put scientific and technical excellence at the service of teaching, research and innovation.
As part of the France 2030 investment plan, IMT has been awarded an AMI CMA project entitled ‘IMT for 5G’. Within this framework, a position has been assigned to the Electronics and Physics Department (EPh) with the aim of developing a 5G technology platform to train engineers who will be the telecommunications players of the future.
Thus, the project aims to build educational resources in the form of practical content around a technological platform to be developed, organized by skill blocks, with a view to modularity, reusability and pedagogy. These resources will be deployed to develop new training courses.
MISSIONS:
In collaboration with the teaching teams, the objective of the position is to carry out the educational engineering of face-to-face training courses. More specifically, this involves supporting teaching teams in integrating courses/practical work around a QoS characterization platform for a 5G and beyond system. The tasks are as follows:
- Develop an educational platform around the key elements of 5G and its evolution towards 6G and 7G
- Participate in the development of the educational design of training courses
- Supervise and coordinate the implementation of elements between the various departments involved, such as the RS2M department, which will develop a more network-focused platform.
Ultimately, the ideal would be to link the various platforms and develop a cross-functional axis between the lower physical layer and the higher network layer.
ACTIVITIES:
Participate in the design and creation of the hardware and modular platform
Participate in the development of the educational design of training courses
Analyze existing training content and content to be produced with the teaching teams
Participate in the creation of resources (creation of practical work based on the tests and measurements offered by the platform)
Support teachers in implementing the chosen scenario for the selected tests and measurements
Coordinate the various contributors/users of the platform
Supervise project management relating to the platform
Monitor and communicate on the progress of the project
Work with teachers to choose media formats suited to the training program
Monitor and manage deliverable deadlines
Draw up schedules, dashboards and reports, and report on activities
Lead meetings or working groups, anticipate risks
Job requirements
Level of training and / or experience required:
Master degree or equivalent
Essential skills, knowledge and experience:
Good knowledge of electronics and RF systems
Basic knowledge of testing and measurement in the field of wireless systems
Basic knowledge of hardware control software (Matlab, LabView, etc.)
Basic knowledge of digital communications and signal processing
Writing skills in English and French required (level B2 in French)
Abilities and skills:
