Job description
Internationally recognized generalist engineering school of the IMT (Institut Mines-Télécom), leading French engineering school (Technological University), IMT Atlantique aims to support transitions, train responsible engineers, and use scientific excellence to serve teaching, research and innovation.
As part of our research activity on mobile networks within IRISA's Adopnet research group, and our strong commitment to teaching, notably through the IMTFor5G+ project as part of the France 2030 "Skills and professions of the future" program, which is based on experimentation and measurement platforms (see, for example, https://hal.archives-ouvertes.fr/hal-01846055v1 or https://hal.science/hal-04346520v1) in 4G and 5G technology, we are recruiting a 5G platform research and development engineer within our Network Systems, Cybersecurity and Digital Law department (https://www.imt-atlantique.fr/fr/l-ecole/departements-d-enseignement-recherche/srcd).
In collaboration with the project team, you will define and implement 5G platforms to be used in practical work and student projects.

Job requirements
You have IT (C and C++ development, Python) and systems (unix) skills.
You have general knowledge of networks and mobile networks, ideally 5G networks.
You are scientifically rigorous, autonomous and organized.
You enjoy working as part of a team and have good oral and written communication skills with researchers.
You should have a Master's degree or equivalent.
