Who we are ?

Télécom Paris, part of the IMT (Institut Mines-Télécom) and a founding member of the Institut Polytechnique de Paris, is one of France's top 5 general engineering schools.

The mainspring of Télécom Paris is to train, imagine and undertake to design digital models, technologies and solutions for a society and economy that respect people and their environment.

We are looking for a research engineer in computer science to join the ACES team in the IT and networks department (INFRES).

The ACES (Autonomous, Critical, Embedded Systems) team at Télécom Paris covers the entire field of digital trust: cybersecurity, secure distributed systems, methods and engineering for software and systems, critical embedded real-time systems, and autonomic systems adaptable to energy constraints.

 As part of its research projects, the ACES team is looking to hire a research engineer to assist in the development, evolution, and maintenance of the platforms developed within the team or to which the team contributes.

Your main responsibilities will be                                                                                         

  • To participate in research projects within the team's domains by creating and configuring platforms and demonstrators. 

  • To ensure the sustainability of the team's platforms and demonstrators and maintain them.

  • To Conduct Research in the Field of Digital Trust

  • To participate in the reputation of the School, the Institut Mines-Télécom and the Institut Polytechnique de Paris

Job requirements

You have a good knowledge of the deployment and maintenance of software platforms. You have development skills in languages such as C, Rust, OCaml or Java to contribute to the team's software. You are fluent in English and have the ability to create development environments for users of these platforms. In addition, you are a team player with good interpersonal and teaching skills
