Internationally recognized generalist engineering school of the IMT (Institut Mines-Télécom), leading French engineering school (Technological University), IMT Atlantique aims to support transitions, train responsible engineers, and use scientific excellence to serve teaching, research and innovation.
As part of the NEUROVASC project, which aims to establish a digital ecosystem for developing predictive tools and models for 5P medicine against stroke, we are recruiting a Research Engineer to join our Data Science Department (DSD).
In collaboration with the project team, you will design and configure health study protocols on the MindLamp platform. You will be responsible for technical development and data flow automation via Python scripts. You will coordinate transdisciplinary collaboration between technical and clinical teams while analyzing collected data to optimize research processes. Finally, you will maintain a constant technological watch on digital health standards.
Job requirements
✔️ You have skills in Python programming for data processing and basic knowledge of Node.js.
✔️ You have experience in data pipeline management (cleaning, aggregation, visualization) and ideally in the use of passive sensors or wearable devices.
✔️ You demonstrate scientific rigor and autonomy in solving complex technical problems. You enjoy working in multidisciplinary teams and show a strong sensitivity to ethical issues in clinical research (GDPR, informed consent).
🇬🇧 🇫🇷 You possess excellent oral and written communication skills in French and English (minimum B2 level) to popularize technical concepts.
🎓 The ideal candidate must hold an Engineering Degree or a Master’s Degree (Bac+5) in Data Science, Bioinformatics, Neuroscience, or a related field.
