MISSIONS:

Research & Development:
Conduct R&D in the field of network programming, orchestration, and optimization (5G and WiFi 7), as well as related services and technologies (container technologies, Kubernetes, APIs, and protocols) with a focus on experimental studies on lab platforms.

ACTIVITIES:

1. Research tasks in optimization and networking

• Carry out research within departmental contracts in the RS2M field

• Contribute to and ensure delivery of project outputs

• Design and develop models, algorithms, and their implementations

2. Contribute to the visibility of the School, Institut Mines-Télécom, and Institut Polytechnique de Paris

• Publish research results

• Give presentations and conferences

• Present work at workshops

3. Additional activities

• Contribute to the scientific life of the department or institution

• Report on activities and results related to assigned tasks

Level of training and / or experience required:

• PhD in related field obtained within the last 3 years

Essential skills, knowledge and experience :

• Knowledge of networks (5G, WiFi)

• Strong scientific knowledge of programming tools and virtualization

• Excellent scientific communication skills

Advantageous skills, knowledge and experience:

• Experience in network modeling and optimization

• Experience in artificial intelligence

• Familiarity with software development tools and environments: Python, virtualization

Salary indications:

Indicative salary range (excluding variable annual bonus): 35.400 - 38.100 euros gross per year, depending on profile and experience (reduced payroll taxes in a public institution).
