MISSIONS:
Carry out research activities in theoretical quantum information, with a focus on bosonic quantum systems
Carry out student supervision and tutoring activities
Contribute to the visibility of Télécom SudParis, Institut Mines-Télécom, and Institut Polytechnique de Paris
ACTIVITIES:
Carry out research activities in theoretical quantum information
Investigate the mathematical and information-theoretic properties of bosonic quantum states and channels, with particular emphasis on non-Gaussian systems.
Study and seek proofs of quantum entropic inequalities arising in bosonic quantum information theory, including inequalities related to the action of beam splitters and other physically relevant bosonic transformations.
Develop new mathematical tools for the analysis of non-Gaussian bosonic states and channels, drawing on methods from quantum information theory, matrix and operator analysis, majorization, and related areas.
Apply these results to the characterization of information transmission through bosonic quantum channels, in particular to the derivation of capacity formulas and upper or lower bounds on communication capacities.
Explore connections between the developed methods and other problems in quantum information theory and mathematical physics.
Contribute to the achievement of the scientific objectives and deliverables of the research project.
Present and discuss research results within the research team and with external collaborators.
Prepare scientific publications reporting the results of the research.
2. Carry out teaching, supervision, and tutoring activities
Teach exercise/tutorial sessions as part of a quantum information course.
Prepare and update exercise sheets, solutions, and other teaching material for the quantum information course.

3. Contribute to the visibility of Télécom SudParis, Institut Mines-Télécom, and Institut Polytechnique de Paris
Publish research results in international peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings.
Present research results at international conferences, workshops, seminars, and scientific meetings.
Participate in scientific collaborations with academic institutions and research centres in France and abroad.
Contribute to the scientific activities and visibility of the department and the institution.
4. Other activities
Participate in the scientific and academic activities of the department and the institution.
Participate in research seminars, project meetings, and other collective scientific activities.
