We are looking for our future Post-doctoral fellow in Cooperative Intelligent Transportation System Security.
Cooperative Intelligent Transportation Systems (C-ITS) represent an evolution of Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) by integrating cooperative communication, real-time data exchange, and distributed decision-making among vehicles, infrastructure, and traffic management centers. The goal of C-ITS is to enhance road safety, traffic efficiency, and environmental sustainability by enabling vehicles and infrastructure to share information in real-time.
As C-ITS relies on Vehicle-to-Everything (V2X) communication, it is highly susceptible to cyber threats that can disrupt its functionality. These threats include data falsification, spoofing attacks, denial-of-service (DoS), and privacy breaches. Ensuring secure, resilient, and low-latency communication is crucial to the safety and reliability of C-ITS networks.
Main responsabilities :
- Carry out research missions in the field of C-ITS Security Test
- Ensure supervision and tutoring missions
- Contribute to the reputation of the School, the Institut Mines-Télécom and the Institut Polytechnique de Paris
Job requirements
To be successful in this position, you have a PhD or equivalent. You have in-depth theoretical and practical knowledge in cybersecurity and an expertise in the cyber security testing and solid background in V2X Communication
You are recognized for your team spirit, excellent interpersonal skills and teaching abilities.
Fluency in English is required for this position.Why join us?
