Télécom Paris, part of the IMT (Institut Mines-Télécom) and a founding member of the Institut Polytechnique de Paris, is one of France's top 5 general engineering schools.

We are looking for our future Post-doctoral fellow to join the Design, Interaction, Virtualisation & Applications team (DIVA). The group research activities focus on novel interaction techniques (particularly with respect to large and small-scale devices), information visualisation, VR/AR/XR, digital fabrication & design, and new technologies for teaching. In this position, you will lead Human Computer Interaction (HCI) research. You will develop and reinforce the team’s leadership in these areas and contribute to the team’s multidisciplinary focus. 


Main responsabilities :

  • Carry out research missions in the field of Human-Computer Interaction
  • Ensure supervision and tutoring missions
  • Contribute to the reputation of the School, the Institut Mines-Télécom and the Institut Polytechnique de Paris
  • Publish scientific papers in the Field related to Extended Reality and Human-Computer Interaction

Job requirements

To be successful in this position, you have a PhD or equivalent. You have in-depth theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of Extended Reality/Human-Computer Interaction. You also have knowledge in Programming in C# using Unity 3D.

You are recognized for your team spirit, excellent interpersonal skills and teaching abilities.

Fluency in English is required for this position.
