Job description

Who we are ?
Télécom Paris, part of the IMT (Institut Mines-Télécom) and a founding member of the Institut Polytechnique de Paris, is one of France's top 5 general engineering schools.
The mainspring of Télécom Paris is to train, imagine and undertake to design digital models, technologies and solutions for a society and economy that respect people and their environment.
We are looking for our future postdoctoral researcher in anatomical digital twins to join the IDS department within the IMAGES group at Telecom Paris.
The position is funded by the AIR-TWIN pre-maturation project, which aims to transfer deep learning research code to generate high-fidelity digital twins of the pulmonary bronchial tree from chest CT scans. The objective is to provide a ready-to-use Python demonstrator, intended for external evaluation for clinical and/or research applications, and to enable rapid integration into numerical simulation systems and/or surgical planning environments.
The deep learning model has already been validated on large-scale CT cohorts. The current phase focuses on packaging the research code, supporting the implementation of new tests on disease-specific cohorts, and simplifying the editing and visualization of 3D lung tree models.
Your main responsabilities :
To carry out research missions in the field of processing and analysis of medical images and manipulation of 3D anatomical geometric models
To ensure supervision and tutoring missions
To contribute to the reputation of the School, the Institut Mines-Télécom and the Institut Polytechnique de Paris
