The mainspring of Télécom Paris is to train, imagine and undertake to design digital models, technologies and solutions for a society and economy that respect people and their environment.
We are looking for a post-doctoral fellow with a passion for quantum information processing theory, to take on ambitious scientific challenges with the Inria Quriosity (QTY) research team.
The Quriosity (QTY) Inria research team is situated within the Laboratoire de Traitement et Communication de l’Information (LTCI) at Télécom Paris and part of the Institut Polytechnique de Paris (IPP) consortium. QTY is a rapidly growing team whose research covers many domains of theoretical quantum information processing. This includes, but is not limited to, topics such as: Quantum Computing; Quantum Cryptography; Quantum Error Correction; Quantum Foundations; Quantum Hamiltonian Complexity; Quantum Information and Quantum Learning.
The successful candidate will work closely with Peter Brown and Cambyse Rouze primarly on the topics of Quantum Hamiltonian Complexity, Quantum Information theory and Quantum cryptography. Broadly, the goal of the recruitment is to advance QTY’s research in applications of polynomial and sum-of-squares methods to solve quantum Hamiltonian complexity problems, further understanding their efficiency and limitations for various new families of problems.
