We are looking for our next postdoctoral researcher in the field of quantum communication and detection theory to join the Department of Communications and Electronics (COMELEC).
We are pleased to announce an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and talented researcher to join our team at Telecom Paris as a Post-Doctoral Fellow in the field of Quantum Technologies. This position offers a unique chance to contribute to cutting-edge research and innovation in the rapidly evolving field of quantum science and technology.
A 1-year post-doc position is available to develop joint protocol in quantum sensing and communication. The duration of the contract could be extended depending on the will of the candidate and his/her results. The candidate will join Telecom
Paris, one of the members of the Institute Polytechnique de Paris, for a contract starting from September 2024. The work of the post-doctoral student is funded by DimQuantip (Paris Region). She/He will be supervised by Dr. Nicolas Fabre (GTO, Telecom Paris).

To carry out research missions in the field of theoretical quantum communication and sensing

Job requirements
You must hold a PhD or equivalent qualification. You have previous experience in theoretical quantum optics and quantum information, as well as strong skills in writing scientific papers. You are proficient in at least one common programming language such as Python, C++ or MATLAB. You have a good command of English; proficiency in French is not required.
