The postdoctoral researcher will be hosted by the S2A research group at Télécom Paris, within the Institut Polytechnique de Paris. The group conducts research at the intersection of statistical learning, machine learning, and data science, with a strong focus on structured data, representation learning, and theoretical foundations of modern learning algorithms. The position will be supervised by Florence d’Alché-Buc, Charlotte Laclau, and with Rémi Flamary and Karim Lounici from École Polytechnique. This postdoctoral position is funded through Hi!PARIS Chair ATLAS (Advancing efficient, reliable and science-informed Learning for non-euclidean data with Application to molecule and biological network Structures)
Your main responsabilities :
To carry out research missions in the field of graph generation under constraints
To ensure supervision and tutoring missions
To contribute to the reputation of the School, the Institut Mines-Télécom and the Institut Polytechnique de Paris
Job requirements
You hold a PhD or equivalent. The candidate must have solid theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of machine learning and statistics. A good command of Python programming is essential, as is a good command of English, both spoken and written. Skills in optimal transport theory and knowledge of generative models will be particularly appreciated.
