Télécom Paris, an international multidisciplinary center for education, research, and innovation, is a leader in the digital world.

We are looking for an Assistant/Associate Professor in Streaming AI to join the Data, Intelligence and Graphs (DIG) team in the Computer sciences and networks (INFRES) department.

Scientific context:

Artificial Intelligence is a central scientific field for the coming decades, with transformative impact across society, industry, and the environment. In this context, there is a growing need for streaming and adaptive AI methods capable of learning continuously from evolving data, handling concept drift, and operating efficiently in real-time and resource-constrained environments. These challenges are critical in applications such as finance, health, agriculture, and ecology, where data is dynamic and decisions must be made promptly. Télécom Paris, with its strong expertise in digital sciences and its interdisciplinary environment, is uniquely positioned to advance research in streaming AI, continual learning, and edge intelligence, while ensuring that developed methods remain explainable, robust, and aligned with ethical and regulatory requirements.

 

Your main tasks will be to:

  • Participate in the design and implementation of teaching programs in your scientific field

  • Conduct research in your scientific field

  •  Participate in the development of partnerships, collaborations and contractual relationships in your scientific field

Job requirements

To succeed in this role, you have a PhD in computer science or mathematics and you are fluent in English. The position is open to all candidates working in artificial intelligence with experience applying AI to one of the following fields: finance, agriculture, health or ecology.

Expertise in the following areas will be preferred:

The selection process takes place in 4 steps:

  • Exchange with the host team to establish a list of shortlisted candidate

  • Preliminary interview with Human Resources

  • Hearing by the recruitment committee and ranking of the selected candidates

  • Final interview with the Director of Télécom Paris
