Télécom Paris, an international multidisciplinary center for education, research, and innovation, is a leader in the digital world.

We are looking for an Assistant/Associate Professor of Digital Economics to join the Economics team in SES (Economics and social sciences) department.

Scientific context:

The selected candidate will be responsible for teaching at Telecom Paris and at the Institut Polytechnique de Paris. In addition, the successful candidate will become part of CREST, a research center that brings together scholars in economics, statistics, quantitative sociology, and finance.

We are seeking Applied Theory and Empirical candidates whose research interests encompass Digital Economics and Industrial Organization in its broader context. Successful applicants should exhibit a track record of excellence in both research and teaching or show substantial promise in these areas.

Your main tasks will be to:
 - Participate in the design and implementation of teaching programs in your scientific field
 - Conduct research in your scientific field
 - Participate in the development of partnerships, collaborations and contractual relationships in your scientific field

Job requirements

To succeed in this role, you have a PhD and you are fluent in English. 

Expertise in the following areas will be preferred:

  • In-depth theoretical or applied knowledge in their field of expertise

  • An excellent command of spoken and written English

  • If the candidate does not speak French, from the moment they are hired they must commit to reaching a professional proficiency of French as quickly as possible while under contract.
