Job description

Who we are ?

Télécom Paris, part of the IMT (Institut Mines-Télécom) and a founding member of the Institut Polytechnique de Paris, is one of France's top 5 general engineering schools.

The mainspring of Télécom Paris is to train, imagine and undertake to design digital models, technologies and solutions for a society and economy that respect people and their environment.

We are looking for our future Engineer Development of an AI framework to join the COMELEC department at Telecom Paris.

The LabSoC (System on Chip Team) at Télécom Paris is a research group within the LTCI laboratory specializing in the design and security of integrated and embedded systems. Its work focuses on modeling, simulation, and automatic code generation to facilitate the design of complex circuits. The team is particularly interested in formal methods and system verification, in order to ensure reliability from the earliest stages of development. A major research focus concerns hardware security, including the study of side-channel attacks and the development of effective countermeasures. LabSoC also develops solutions to protect communications, external memory, and microelectronic architectures.

The team also designs innovative tools such as TTool, an open-source modeling and verification environment based on UML/SysML. This software is used to quickly explore the design space and test different architectural solutions. Finally, LabSoC collaborates with numerous academic and industrial partners, thereby strengthening its central role in innovation in system-on-chip technologies.

More recently, the team has turned to the use of artificial intelligence in systems engineering processes. This concerns, on the one hand, assistance with model generation and, on the other hand, the analysis of these models. This work has been implemented in TTool-AI.

The position involves developing an innovative artificial intelligence tool as part of the early-stage development of a concept, with a view to its commercialization. This early-stage work is carried out within the Institut Polytechnique de Paris.

You will be expected to contribute fully not only to the underlying technical aspects (web and Java development), but also to testing this tool with our industrial partners.

The role will also involve understanding the market in this field and shaping concepts and tools so as to make them sufficiently mature for potential entrepreneurial activity at the end of the contract.

Your main responsabilities :

  • To carry out research and development missions in the field of artificial intelligence. Development concerns an innovative AI framework.

  • To ensure dissemination activities among our industrial and academic partners.

  • To contribute to the reputation of the School, the Institut Mines-Télécom and the Institut Polytechnique de Paris

Job requirements

You have an engineering degree or equivalent. You have practical experience in web development and Java programming. You also have theoretical and practical knowledge of artificial intelligence. The skills we are looking for include: web development, technical expertise in artificial intelligence, and knowledge of entrepreneurship. You have an aptitude for developing products and thriving in an entrepreneurial environment. Finally, you are fluent in English at a professional level.

Why join us?
You'll be working in a fast-growing, pleasant, green and accessible environment (especially for people with disabilities) just 20 km from Paris (RER B and C suburban train lines, close to major roads, shared shuttle departing from Porte d'Orléans). You will benefit from :

  • 49 days annual leave (CA + RTT)

  • flexible working hours (depending on department activity)

  • telecommuting 1 to 3 days/week possible

  • 75% public transport pass reimbursement

  • Proximity to numerous sports facilities, concierge service, underground parking, in-house catering, etc.

  • Good to know: our social security contributions are lower than in the private sector
