MISSIONS:
This position aims to strengthen expertise in the traceability of artificial neural networks, within the framework of the IP Paris pre-maturation project NEWTON (Neural nEtwork Watermarking maTuratiON). The focus is on the design and deployment of traceability solutions (such as watermarking and fingerprinting) for AI systems, potentially leading to the creation of a startup and/or the transfer of technology to an industrial partner.
The envisioned responsibilities include:
Rapid assimilation of the existing methodological foundations developed by TSP/ARTEMIS in the field of neural network traceability,
Design of innovative watermarking/fingerprinting solutions for deep learning models applied to multimedia processing tasks (e.g., classification, segmentation, object detection, compression, and generation),
Implementation and integration of watermarking/fingerprinting solutions for deep learning models up to Proof-of-Concept (PoC) level, in order to validate both methodological and functional properties,
Drafting of a document compiling technical information for technology transfer, including technical specifications, application-specific implementation details, commented source code, etc.,
Occasional co-supervision of student projects and/or support for doctoral candidates working on related topics.
The researcher will join the ARTEMIS Department (Advanced Research and Techniques for Multidimensional Imaging Systems) at Télécom SudParis and will benefit from the deep learning expertise developed by the team in recent years, as well as the hardware infrastructure (ARTEMIS deep learning platform) required to support the project's development.
