Télécom Paris, part of the IMT (Institut Mines-Télécom) and a founding member of the Institut Polytechnique de Paris, is one of France's top 6 general engineering schools.

We are looking for our next postdoctoral researcher in emotionally adaptive audio synthesis to join the Image, Data and Signal (IDS) department. The hosting team is S2A (Signal, Statistics and Machine learning) of the LTCI Lab.

Your main responsabilities :

  • To carry out research missions in the field of Deep Learning for Audio synthesis

  • To ensure supervision and tutoring missions.

  • To contribute to the reputation of the School, the Institut Mines-Télécom and the Institut Polytechnique de Paris.

Job requirements

You hold a PhD or an equivalent qualification. You have in-depth knowledge, both theoretical and applied, of signal processing and statistical learning, particularly deep learning applied to time series, notably audio signals. You are fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Postdoctoral experience or international experience within an academic or industrial laboratory would be an advantage.

You enjoy working as part of a team and possess good interpersonal and teaching skills. You also demonstrate strong writing, analytical and summarising skills.
