Job description
As a leading general engineering school of the IMT-Institut Mines-Télécom, France's leading group of engineering schools, IMT Atlantique's ambition is to accompany transitions, train responsible engineers and place scientific and technical excellence at the service of teaching, research and innovation.
As part of the ICI (Computational Imaging for Ultra-Low Field MRI) project, which aims to develop a portable and accessible MRI imaging system based on a computational approach and artificial intelligence, in collaboration with Brest University Hospital and Multiwave (Marseille), we are recruiting a doctoral student or postdoctoral researcher to join our Data Science department (DSD).
In collaboration with the project team, you will design and develop new computational imaging approaches for reconstructing ultra-low field MRI data, using variational models and deep learning techniques. You will implement and validate reconstruction algorithms, ensuring their performance, robustness, and efficiency for clinical application. You will participate in the operation of the ultra-low field MRI system by contributing to validation studies on phantoms and in clinical settings.
