Job description
As a leading general engineering school of the IMT-Institut Mines-Télécom, France's leading group of engineering schools, IMT Atlantique's ambition is to accompany transitions, train responsible engineers and place scientific and technical excellence at the service of teaching, research and innovation.
As part of the NEUROWAVE project, which aims to explore energy-efficient computing methods, we are recruiting a postdoctoral researcher to join our Microwave (MO) department.
Working with the project team and reporting to Vincent VLAMINCK, you will explore spin wave interference with topological spin textures such as skyrmions. You will develop techniques in the time domain combining an arbitrary waveform generator and an oscilloscope.
Job requirements
Minimum education and/or experience required:
PhD obtained less than 3 years before date of hire in Physics, preferably in condensed matter
Essential skills, knowledge and experience:
Strong background in magnetism,
Solid experience in instrumentation
Mastery of physical instrumentation and object-oriented programming, combined with meticulous expertise in conducting delicate experiments, will be particularly appreciated.
Abilities and skills :
Sharp written and oral communication skills
Ability to carry out technical tasks autonomously
Experienced with delicate experiment
