MISSIONS:

We study next-generation mobile networks (5G and WiFi 7 and their evolutions) in terms of architecture, protocols, and optimization. These networks benefit from new technologies and approaches, such as virtualization and AI, to make them more efficient, dynamic, and autonomous.

Conduct research and development activities in the field of network modeling and optimization.

ACTIVITIES:

1/  Research in optimization and networks

·        Carry out research activities under the Department's contracts in the RS2M field

·        Participate in and ensure the delivery of project deliverables

·        Design and develop models, algorithms, and associated implementations

2/  Contributing to the visibility of the School, Institut Mines-Télécom, and Institut Polytechnique de Paris

·        Publish research results

·        Give presentations and conferences

·        Present work at workshops

3/  Other activities

·        Participate in the scientific animation of the Department or Institution

·        Report on activities and results related to assigned tasks

Level of training and / or experience required:

• PhD or Doctorat for less than 3 years

Essential skills, knowledge and experience:

• Proficiency in English (written and spoken)

• Strong scientific knowledge in optimization techniques

• Excellent scientific communication skills

Advantageous skills, knowledge and experience:

• Experience in networking

• Experience in network modeling and optimization

• Experience in AI

• Familiarity with development tools and software environments: Julia, Python
