We are looking for a Postdoc in Biomedical Imaging & AI to join our dynamic team in the Image, Data and Signal (IDS) department at Télécom Paris.


SCIENTIFIC BACKGROUND

Development of image transformation methods and dedicated metrics documenting the level of robustness and fairness (RAF) of self-supervised learned visual features in the context of specific medical and biological image analysis tasks (e.g. organ segmentation, lesion detection, analysis-level classification) . This project will also prepare reference training and test sets, based on open cohorts of existing images, to be used to apply and demonstrate the RAF level of a given algorithm. These reference datasets will be carefully documented for the presence of rare visual features, rare scan types and rare disease categories.


The main responsibilities of the position include:

. Research assignments in the field of self-supervised learning on biomedical images
. Providing mentoring and tutoring services
. Contribute to the reputation of the School, the Institut Mines-Télécom and the Institut Polytechnique de Paris.

Job requirements

You will have a sound theoretical and practical knowledge of medical or biological imaging, a PhD or equivalent degree, a proven ability to work in a team and a good command of English.
